Between the Teeth

As obvious as it is to brush your teeth, it is to brush between your teeth. The gums between the teeth often withdraw slightly, leaving a triangular cavity between the teeth and exposing the root of the tooth. Here, food and bacteria easily attach and cause both cavities and periodontitis. It’s also easy for bacteria to attach around the edges of inlays, crowns and bridges. To clean these areas you need interdental brushes, flosspicks, dental floss and toothpicks.
